We are Proud to Announce La Famiglia Sorrento Restaurant, the Home of the Original Tomato Pie.  Generation after generation have enjoyed our  family-prized recipes. 

At La Famiglia Sorrento we truly have a passion for cooking great Italian food.  We then serve our meals in a family atmosphere reminiscent of Sunday dinner at mom's.

 We use only the finest ingredients for all of our meals and deserts.  But don't just take our word for it come in and try it yourself.  

Our Tomato Pie

Our signature dish is the "Original Tomato Pie." There are several things that differentiate this pie from the typical pizza. You notice a difference without even taking a bite. Instead of shredded cheese, the pie at La Famiglia Sorrento is topped with chunks of mozzarella.This allows generous portions of sauce to peek through the cheese and makes for a nice combination of textures on each slice.

The sauce is made from a unique blend of various tomatoes, creating a taste that is lighter than the sauce on most pizzas.The hand-mixed sauce has a distinctive flavor and texture that sets it apart from the topping on most pizzas. But what truly makes the pie extraordinary is the dough, which is made from an exclusive 120-year-old recipe. "It is a recipe that has been in my wife’s family since 1870," says Anthony La Ferrara.The current keeper of the dough recipe is La Ferrara’s mother-in-law, Angela Spero.
